Features of Exhaust Air Relief Valve
Exhaust Process More Smoothly
Steady air release can avoid pressure surge and protect pipeline damage.
More Autonomous Working Mode
The air relief valve can release air when filling water in pipe, and enter air to get rid of negative pressure when vacuum or negative pressure exists.
More Reliable Way of Discharge
Quick released air and air with water will not close valve orifice in advance and cause air seal. Orifice will close when air is released completely.
Automatic Protection & Safer Performance
Whenever system pressure is lower than atmosphere and water column separation occurs, the air relief valve opens immediately. Air enters the system to eliminate negative pressure, while also speeding up subsequent air release.
Product Parameters
TWT Exhaust air relief valve can be divided into:
- High speed compound air release valve
- Slow closing inlet and outlet air relief valve
- Size: DN25-DN300
- Pressure: PN1.0-1.6Mpa
- Temp: 0ºC-90ºC
- Main materials: cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel
- Connection type: Thread, Flange
Inspection and maintenance program:
- Close cut-off valve under air release valve.
- Take off the connection bolts between valve body and cover. Use water to clear floating ball, body, cover, sealing ring, and screen.
- Put the floating ball back in place, install the valve cover, and tighten the bolts.
- Open the cut-off valve.
Installation and maintenance:
- Valve should be installed vertically at the pipeline's highest point.
- The cut-off valve (butterfly valve or gate valve) should be installed before the air release valve.
- Check and maintenance is recommended one or two times a year; frequency can increase depending on water conditions.
